HOSTING
This website is operated by Wix.com Ltd., 5 Yunitsman St., Tel Aviv, Israel (privacy@wix.com). When you access the pages, Wix processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page accessed, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Wix acts as our processor; a data processing agreement is in place with Wix.
Wix may store data in Israel, in the EU and in other countries. The European Commission has recognised an adequate level of data protection for Israel. For transfers to the USA, Wix relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) or on standard contractual clauses.
COOKIES AND CONSENT
Our website uses cookies. We set technically necessary cookies so that the site works and is secure (§ 165(3) TKG 2021, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All other cookies, in particular for statistics and advertising, are only set if you consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the fingerprint icon at the bottom left of every page. The cookie banner is provided on behalf of Wix by Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany.
CONTACTING US
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, phone number, your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data from the contact form is stored at Wix. We do not pass it on without your consent. We do not transmit the content of your enquiry to Google; to measure the success of our ads, only the fact that a form was submitted is recorded (see Google Ads).
We delete your enquiry six months after the last contact. If an order results, we keep the data for as long as statutory obligations require (usually seven years, § 132 BAO, § 212 UGB).
STATISTICS (WIX ANALYTICS)
With your consent, we analyse the use of our website with Wix Analytics: pages visited, time spent, approximate origin, device and browser. This helps us improve our content. The provider is Wix as our processor (see Hosting). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, no analysis takes place. GOOGLE ADS (CONVERSION TRACKING)
We run ads via Google Ads. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To measure whether our ads work, we use Google Ads conversion tracking via the Google tag, with your consent. If you reach our website via one of our ads, Google sets a cookie. If you then submit our contact form, we and Google learn that an ad was followed by an enquiry. We only see aggregated figures (for example how many enquiries came via ads), no information that allows us to identify you personally.
This involves processing, among other things, your IP address (shortened), information about your browser and device, the pages visited and the time of the ad view and click. Google may also transfer this data to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not use "enhanced conversions", so no form content such as email addresses is transmitted to Google. With your consent, Google may also use this data to build audiences; we do not currently run remarketing campaigns (ads for previous visitors).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). Without consent in the cookie banner, the Google tag is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the fingerprint icon at the bottom left. Cookie storage period: conversion cookies (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc) up to 90 days, the IDE cookie up to 13 months. VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE
On our website we show preview images of our videos hosted on YouTube. The videos are not embedded; no data is transmitted to YouTube when our page loads. Only when you click a preview image does YouTube open in a new window. LINKS TO SOCIAL NETWORKS
We refer to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Houzz and ProvenExpert with simple links only. Data is only transmitted when you click a link; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, write to us at office@button.co.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
